SoftSol Technologies Inc. has openings for Project Lead (PL032010). Candidate will plan, schedule, and coordinate activities related to system development, analysis design and implementation projects. The position provides technical coordination of project teams, but not direct administrative supervision. Will own the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project. Will communicate and enforce coding standards. Perform code reviews. Understand complex database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques. Support the performance of data migration efforts for client(s). Create database design specifications based upon business and technical requirements.

These specifications include the conceptual process flow, data flow diagrams, physical data models, data capacity estimates and implementation plan. Work with the data and business analysts, and other technical staff to support design, development, and testing activities related to software development. Requirement gathering & Client interactions. Application Program designing & development. Review the Code, helping the Technical Team, ensuring Project Objectives are met Analyze problems encountered in the software development or production environment and provides solutions. Assist in documentation and tracking installation testing issues on project plan. Participate in the review of testing on projects and issues with client as needed. Assist in the coordination of installation testing activity. Keep project manager well informed of status of development effort.

Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any) or related field with 5 yrs of hands on exp in implementing applications Java/J2EE, Java Networking, C, C++, PowerBuilder, .Net, Unix (Solaris, HP,AIX), Perl, PL/SQL. Travel/relocation may be required.
